- LAST BUT NOT LEAST SOME GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
FOR THE SAFE AND LONG LASTING USE OF YOUR HOVER TRIMMER -
Pay close attention while using the blade. Carefully read the information supplied with the Hover Trimmer and on the manufacturer's instruction manual.
Before beginning to work with the Hover Trimmer, warm up your trimmer motor for around 2 min. Before putting the blade on the ground accelerate the engine for 5 seconds. The propeller blade will create a cushion of air that keeps the blade at 2-3 cm parallel to the ground. Whilst using the blade keep the engine at a constant and consistent (medium) velocity.
DO NOT use the blade with a rapid scything movement (more than 10/20 cm/s) as this could be dangerous and cause damage to the blade.
To improve the PULVERIZATION keep the blade sharp and slightly tilt the blade in the direction of the movement
DO NOT use a warped, cracked, broken or damaged blade.
With the Hover Trimmer blade, it is possible to pulverise grass and cut young saplings, weeds or bushes, up to 2 cm in diameter. Any other use is not recommended.. For cutting young saplings, weeds, bushes, use a sharp blade and proceed by small cuts up to 1 cm.
The rotating blade must not come in contact with stones, metal or hard objects.
If the blade starts to shake or vibrate, turn off the engine and check the whole unit. Do not use it until the trouble has been properly corrected.Follow these instructions: (a) Read the manufacturer's instruction manual (b) Check if the blade is properly assembled and firmly tightened. (c)Check if the blade is unbalanced. Remove the blade and insert the Red plastic cylinder into the blade hole (See below Fig 28 above). Put a pin into the Red plastic cylinder hole, which will support the blade and position the blade horizontally.
